Overview
The Hathor was the second of the Common Heart series of tracked vehicles to launch, following the Bast AT-60 Main Battle Tank. Using the common Starheart 240, Greene and Harvester engineers were delighted to buold a high speed tracked suspension, with teh Hathor racing past 90kph on terrain of all types. The Hathor is a flanker/sceener, in it's A model, using it's Hellstar PPC to hunt down light 'Mechs and harrass larger forces from a distance. It mounts a single machinegun to keep curious infantry at bay in a coaxial mount. The B model serves as bodyguard and infighter, with a Defiance B5L large laser and B3M meduim laser in a turret mount.

Capabilities
Being second has it's advantages - the Hathor shares the same motive, atmospheric, and fire control as teh AT-60 Bast series, which lets crew swap between platoons with greater ease. It's innovative suspension is beloved by it's crews, who delight in the 'hotrod' 40 ton murder factory.

Deployment
The Hathor serves in expeditionary forces, as fusion machines are deemed too expensive to use as militia or reserve forces.

History
The Hathor has deployed to great success in pirate hunting in the Periphery reaches, and Hathor platoons were used to great success as mobile headhunter units in the 4th Succession war, where they were deployed with the TriStar Guards 7th Sherwood Rangers.
