Privacy policy

Effective 25 September 2026

The short version

MekFab collects no data. Everything you enter stays on your device. There is no account, no analytics, no advertising and no server of ours behind the app.

What the app stores, and where

When you set up the terminal, MekFab asks for a name and, for the client edition, a unit, government or company and a home system. These, together with your settings, are kept in the app's own storage on your device. Designs you open, sorties, tables of organization and equipment, and any images you import for insignia are also stored only on the device, in the app's container. If your device backs up to iCloud or to a computer, that backup is governed by Apple's terms, not by us.

What the app reads

MekFab reads unit files only from folders you choose with Open Folder, and it reads nothing else on your device. It makes no network requests of its own. The only outside page it opens is this one, from the Privacy policy link in Settings.

What we receive

Nothing. We cannot see your name, your designs or how you use the app. If you join a TestFlight test, Apple may share crash logs and basic device information with us under Apple's TestFlight terms.

Children

The app is not directed at children and collects no personal information from anyone.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will appear at this address with a new effective date.
